V.E.A.C

Voluntary Emergency & Aid Co-operative

The function and purposes of this organisation are complex. In a basic term, it is an affiliation of diverse and similar rescue and recovery infrastructures, that are called upon to undertake complex missions of Mercy. This central organisation is similar to INTERNATIONAL RESCUE, UNICEF and the D.E.C.

These in turn have smaller specialist organisations and scientific think tanks that specialise in a huge array of space and planetary sciences, as well as medical expertise.

The primary locations they attend to are worlds who are closely affiliated with the United Federation of Planets. There are cases they would attend to emergencies in solar systems who are not currently in the umbrella of the UFP.

There have been occasions since the founding of this organisation, that they attended to such locations and the governments were so pleased with the results, they did not hesitate in joining the UFP family.

Enjoy reading the stories. I hope that they would bring to light more and more qualities of the spirit that drives people of diverse cultures and planetary systems, to risk their lives in order to save millions in disasters; many of which are beyond their control.
